Here is the instructions how to Install MSE directly to your PC:

• Double-click the downloaded file. User Account Control (UAC) will prompt you if you are installing on Windows 7. Click “Yes” to allow the program to make changes.
• Click “Next” on the Welcome screen.
• Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA).
• Click “Validate” to make sure your copy of Windows is a genuine copy.
• Click “Install.” After the install completes, Microsoft Security Essentials automatically updates your virus and spyware definitions to the latest release and performs a scan to make sure your computer is virus free.
• Update your MSE on your computer for free, just click “Update” button on the MSE application.
